26. How much caffeine is in one stick of GreensGurl? Why isn’t it listed on your label?
The amount of caffeine in one stick of GreensGurl is less than the amount in a single cup of green tea. Because we use natural matcha in our blend there will be small amounts of naturally occurring caffeine. We don’t know the exact amount because as with all whole food ingredients there is natural variation. Depending on the plant's age at harvest and other factors like the drying process the levels of caffeine vary slightly making it impossible to know exactly how much caffeine is in each stick. Because we are not adding additional caffeine to the product we are not required to list the exact amount on the label. 

27. Why doesn’t your label show the exact amount of vitamins and minerals in GreensGurl?
GreensGurl is an organic whole food sourced supplement, that means all our ingredients come from plants or other whole food sources and we don’t fortify (add extra) with additional synthesized vitamins or minerals, this is also why it’s significantly less chalky than many other greens powders. Because nature is imperfect and plants have natural variance due to things like maturity at harvest, soil make up, and even weather conditions (rain and sun mostly) it's impossible for us to say for sure how much of any given nutrient is in each stick. The FDA requires that any amount listed on the label MUST be accurate in every stick. The only way to do that is to fortify with vitamin or mineral powders and we decided a natural whole food supplement is more in line with what we were looking for.

28. Is GreensGurl gluten free?
There are no significant sources of gluten in GreensGurl, however there may still  be trace amounts of gluten so highly sensitive people may not want to consume it. The FDA says 20ppm or less constitutes a “Gluten Free” product and it’s very possible that we meet this standard but because of natural variation in both wheatgrass and barley grass at the time of harvest we can’t guarantee it. While immature plants tend not to contain gluten and that is typically what is used, the chance of gluten being present is possible but very low. There is also a very small possibility of cross contamination at the time of ingredient processing so we don’t feel comfortable guaranteeing a zero gluten product. Many of our product testers suffer from gluten intolerance and so far no one has reported issues. You know your body best so if you tend to be extremely sensitive to trace amounts of gluten this may not be the right product for you.
